Debra Parrish is currently Founding of Parrish Law Offices, LLC, a firm with offices in Washington, DC and Pittsburgh, PA. Ms. Parrish specializes in compliance and investigations in science and health care law, including scientific misconduct and research regulations, and reimbursement for new medical technologies.
Ms. Parrish is a frequent speaker at national and regional meetings on research and integrity issues. She has published numerous articles on a variety of topics including intellectual property, research ethics and medical ethics. She is an author on the Council of Scientific Editors’ white paper on research integrity issues.
Her clients include life science companies, universities, research enterprises and publishers and editors of various journals. For her service as an advocate for access to medical treatments, she was awarded the American Bar Association’s Pro Bono Award.
Ms. Parrish received a J.D. from Duke University School of Law, and holds a B.S.E. in biomedical engineering from Duke University. Ms. Parrish currently is pursuing a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.
